Yaayyy!! At this stage, companies check out your background. This is what you would probably call a criminal record check in most countries and it's something you will need to acquire from your local authorities.
This process will vary from country to country and will potentially be different depending on what company you are applying to work for. Please do note that not all companies will require a background check.
